Description of project
The Leadenhall Building in the heart of London is a 225m high residential and office building with 45 floors.
M+R delivered the seals for this project to an important German facade builder. The seals were incorporated in the facade elements in Germany and then transported to London for assembly to produce the facade. This process required 25 different profile geometries.
The challenge of this project was primarily that the quantities behind the individual tools were sometimes quite low. This meant that, often, support rigs were required during production. Additionally, there was a relatively short time available for the provision of a large number of tools, which was extremely challenging for our tool shop.
- 25 profile geometries
- Numerous rig procedures
- A large number of tools
