Edge pro­tec­tion pro­files

These pro­files have a dou­ble func­tion. On the one hand they pro­tect against sharp edges by means of a PVC or EPDM clip-​​on area. On the other hand they pro­vide an addi­tional seal­ing func­tion by means of an applied foam rub­ber hose or lip.

The push-​​on area of the pro­file is equipped with a wire body or a steel clamp­ing band. This ensures an opti­mum tight fit.

In addi­tion to devel­op­ment ser­vices, we also offer FEM cal­cu­la­tions for our cus­tomers if required, in order to obtain ideal val­ues for slip-​​on and pull-​​off forces. This avoids unnec­es­sary tool pro­duc­tions, saves costs and lead time.

We can also con­vert all edge pro­tec­tion pro­files into fixed lengths, frames or rings.
You can deter­mine the Shore hard­ness indi­vid­u­ally accord­ing to your require­ments.
